Jason is the owner of the company which was started in April 2010.
A time served apprentice, he trained with SWEB, the then Electricity Board and completed a full Craft Apprenticeship achieving his City and Guilds / NVQ's in electrical and plumbing installations. Moving on to working for the Royal Fleet Auxiliary, British Electrical Repairs Ltd & Sun Cruises he then moved into Contract Management carrying out contracts for organisations such as the Health and Safety Executive and hotel complexes.
Going back on the tools in 2000 meant learning a new skill set. Gaining his AC qualifications, along with electrical and mechanical qualifications the business started to take a new direction.
Relocating to Cornwall in 2001 he helped train plumbers and electricians in the day to day operations at the Eden Project. Having taken the big step to go self employed, he now concentrates on electrical and plumbing repairs and installations along with kitchen and bathroom installs including tiling.
He is eager to promote the apprenticeship scheme and is working hard to get more women into the building trade.
Shannon is our apprentice plumber but has successfully completed a NVQ course in general maintenance which included Carpentry, Painting & Decorating and Masonry repairs.
One of the area she excels in is tiling where her eye for detail along with the quality of her work makes her a force to reckoned with.
Shannon has also recently obtained her BPEC qualification in Under Floor Heating which was a qualification external to her college training.
Shannon was recently shortlisted for Apprentice of the year 2018 - Building & Construction where she was also entered into the Achiever of the year 2018 category. She gained highly commended certificates from the panel judges in what was a highly competitive competition.
Her enthusiasm and passion for learning shows through and she loves to work. She is quickly becoming a real asset to the company.
